whats the best way to learn chords. im just starting out, and the only thing i hear people say is “just keep playing them over and over”. is there a better way or some type of exercise?

Hey Corey. I think that in composition there can't be smth good or smth bad about voicings. It depends on style of composer, on desire of composer to express his style, on view of composer about using different type of voicings and techniques.
